Frank Henderson - Intl Business Dev
Profile
Following an Mechanical and Production Engineering course running in tandem with an apprenticeship he decided that the lure of travel and working overseas was far superior to the horizontal sleet and rain of a Summer’s day in Scotland! In 1977, a year living in a desert camp in Saudi Arabia gave Frank the experience needed to move on within the transportation sector.
The next fifteen years in the shipping / logistics business saw him work for American, Greek and Swiss freight operators, whilst living in many areas of both the Far and Middle East. This career path to-date made for an easy introduction into international trade and general economic work on behalf of Scottish and UK based businesses. There are indeed several local GCC companies trading today throughout the GGC region that have been ably assisted by Frank during their early years.
Culturally as well commercially aware, Frank really enjoys being out in the marketplace on the search for a commercial opportunity on behalf of STC!
